Soniculture brings out the next EP from the brilliant producer Apart, known for travelling deep through emotions along reverberated bass drums that are crisp and hypnotic.
A melody is always present giving us a sense of direction like in Selene” that soothes the tense drum arrangements and basslines that make its core.
It is with “Sonic Youth” that the melody takes front stage and reveals itself to be a galore of uncontrollable emotion, exploding feelings into all directions. A superb composition that is an anthem to be played in those very special moments.
With “Minerva”, the hypnosis kicks back in, provided by futuristic synth and drum arrangements together with melodic eerie sounds, as also happens with “Kwent” that lays you in a lethargic state of pleasure, with your mind travelling through inter-stellar dimensions.
Artwork has been conceived by the extremely talented and renowned visual artist from Montreal, Alexandra Levasseur. For more information about her work, check: alexandralevasseur.com.
